Soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, acetone, methyl acetate and liquid ammonia. Calcium nitrate tetrahydrate msds is an oxidizing agent, has hygroscopic properties, and is easily delixed in air. Calcium nitrate water soluble is also an oxidizing agent, which burns and explodes in case of organic matter and sulfur, and emits a red flame.
