Description
Aluminium Nitrate Crystal is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula Al(NO3)3·9H2O (there is also an anhydrous form Al(NO3)3). The molecular weight varies depending on whether it contains water. The molecular weight of the nonahydrate is 375.13 and the molecular weight of the anhydrous form is 213.01. Aluminium nitrate crystals are usually colorless or white crystals, which are easy to deliquesce. They have a low melting point of about 73°C and decompose at 150°C. The crystals are easily soluble in water and alcohol solvents, but insoluble in organic solvents such as ethyl acetate. Its aqueous solution is acidic and has strong oxidizing properties. During the preparation process, aluminum nitrate crystals are usually obtained by the reaction of aluminum with nitric acid or the further reaction of aluminum salts with nitric acid. They are important raw materials in chemical synthesis and industrial production.
Features
High purity
The content of Al(NO3)3·9H2O, the main component of Aluminium Nitrate Crystal, is as high as 98.0% min, which directly reflects its excellent high purity characteristics. High purity means that the impurity content in the product is extremely low, thus ensuring its stability and reliability in various chemical reactions. Whether used as a catalyst, mordant, or for the preparation of other aluminum compounds, high-purity aluminum nitrate crystals can provide excellent performance and effects.
Strictly Controlled Impurities
In the product specifications, we have strictly limited the content of sulfates, chlorides, water-insoluble substances, iron, alkali metals and alkaline earth metals, and heavy metals. For example, the content of sulfates and chlorides does not exceed 0.01% max and 0.005% max, respectively. These low impurity contents ensure that aluminum nitrate crystals will not introduce unnecessary interference during the application process, thereby improving the overall application effect.
Excellent Solubility
Aluminum nitrate crystals have good solubility and can dissolve quickly and completely in water to form a transparent solution. This feature makes it more convenient when preparing solutions, conducting chemical reactions, or for industrial processing. At the same time, its content of water-insoluble substances is extremely low (no more than 0.02% max), which further ensures the clarity and purity of the solution.
Easy to Identify and Store
Aluminum Nitrate Crystal appears as white crystals, and this unique appearance makes it easy to identify in the market. At the same time, it has a certain chemical stability and can keep its chemical properties unchanged for a long time at normal temperature and pressure. This stability ensures that the product can maintain its original function and effect during storage, transportation and use.
