Aluminium nitrate nonahydrate is colorless crystal. It is easy to delix, melting point is 37.5℃, decompose at 150℃, easily soluble in water, alcohol, insoluble in ethyl acetate, aqueous solution is acidic, has strong oxidation, toxic, contact with flammable products can cause fire, and organic matter heating will burn and explode, irritating to the skin.

Application
Aluminium nitrate nonahydrate is mainly used in the manufacture of catalysts for organic synthesis, mordant for textile industry, oxidant, as a salting agent in the recovery of nuclear fuel by solvent extraction and for the manufacture of other aluminum salts.
