Description
Calcium Nitrate Fertilizer is a compound with the chemical formula of Ca(NO3)2·4H2O and a relative molecular mass of 236.15. This fertilizer is composed of calcium ions and nitrate ions, and has excellent water solubility. It is one of the widely used nitrogen fertilizers in the agricultural field. The calcium and nitrogen elements in calcium nitrate fertilizer are both in a form that is easily absorbed by plants. The nitrogen element mainly exists in the form of nitrate nitrogen, while the calcium element is available to plants in the form of water-soluble calcium (usually measured as CaO).
Features
High purity and efficient nutrient content
Calcium Nitrate Fertilizer is known for its purity of up to 99.0%, ensuring that the nutrient content in the product is extremely high and stable. This high purity feature means that more effective nutrients can be provided per unit weight of fertilizer, reducing nutrient waste caused by impurities. Specifically, it contains calcium oxide (CaO) content of not less than 23.4%, and nitrogen (N) content of not less than 11.76%. These data directly reflect the high efficiency of the fertilizer, allowing crops to quickly and fully absorb the required nutrients and promote healthy growth.
Suitable pH value and wide applicability
The pH value of this product is controlled in the range of 5-7. This neutral to slightly acidic property makes it suitable for various soil types and will not adversely affect the soil pH value. The appropriate pH value helps to maintain the activity of soil microorganisms, promote the effective release of nutrients and the absorption and utilization of crops. Both industrial and agricultural grade products maintain this stable pH range to ensure wide applicability.
Extremely low impurity content to ensure safe fertilization
Calcium Nitrate Fertilizer has extremely low impurity content, including water-insoluble matter content not exceeding 0.01%, heavy metal content not exceeding 0.001%, sulfate content not exceeding 0.03%, iron content not exceeding 0.002%, and chloride content not exceeding 0.005%. These strict index controls avoid the adverse effects of impurities on crop growth, such as soil compaction and nutrient imbalance. Low impurity content also means that there will be no toxicity to crops during fertilization, ensuring the safety and reliability of fertilization.
Excellent physical properties, easy to store and use
Calcium nitrate fertilizer is presented in the form of white crystals, with a melting point of 39.7°C and a relative density of 1.82. These physical properties make the product easy to store and transport, and not easily affected by moisture and deterioration. At the same time, its good solubility ensures that nutrients can be quickly dissolved in water, making it easy to fertilize through irrigation systems or foliar spraying, improving nutrient utilization and the convenience of fertilization.
